Academy Motorsport / Alex Caffi Motorsport ready for Most with an All-Female duo

Pietrasanta (LU) 26.08.2023 After the summer break Academy Motorsport / Alex Caffi Motorsport is ready to start the second part of the season from Most.

Exciting news within the Italian team, which marks an important event in the history of the Nascar championship: after ten years two young girls will take turns at the wheel of the same car. Michaela Dorcikova, returns with Academy Motorsport. With a great determination that distinguishes her, she is ready to compete in EnPro for the Challenger Trophy and states: “It is exciting to compete in EnPro where there is always something to learn by observing the best drivers. As soon as I heard that I would be sharing the #1 Ford Mustang with a talented girl like Stefani I was really happy. There are very few teams that trust an all-female crew and for this I will never stop thanking Federico Monti, Stefano Bacci and Alex Caffi, who are generous and professional team leaders. I consider Academy Motorsport as my racing family, which is why it is very important for me to achieve great results on track.”

Twenty-year-old Stefani Mogorovic already has a long experience in Karting and from 2020 has been committed in the Croatian Championship with her Renault Clio III. First experience, after the tests carried out last March in Cremona with Academy, in the European series for the young Croatian who will test herself in En2 competing for the Rookie Trophy as well as the Lady Trophy. “After the tests both Stefano and Federico and I were very satisfied with the performance, I am really happy to join Academy Motorsport and I am honoured to form an all-female duo, it will be an exciting adventure and I can’t wait to see the results,” says the rookie.

 

“A dream come true,” says team owner Federico Monti, “it was an idea that Stefano and I had in mind from the very beginning, that of wanting to form a women’s team.It will be an exciting weekend for Academy Motorsport and we can’t wait to get started.”

 

There is plenty of grit and determination in the Italian team’s pits where Vladimiros Tziortzis at the wheel of his FJ #5 is focused on extending his lead in En2 and reasserting himself in EnPro.”After the last tests in Cremona,” says the young Cypriot, “we have improved some aspects of the car and I am convinced that I will be able to grab important points for myself and for the team, which has always been by my side supporting me.

Saturday 26 at 13:20 first EnPro race followed by the first En2 race at 17:00

Sunday 27th green lights at 10:45 for race 2 of En2 and at 13:55 for the second race of EnPro.
