Academy Motorsport / Alex Caffi Motorsport is ready for home race at Vallelunga

The Italian team of entrepreneur and driver Federico Monti in partnership with former F1 driver Alex Caffi after the successes at Brands Hatch is focused on the Vallelunga round. Also important news is the online launch of the Italian team’s official website, confirming the significant progress achieved during this season.

 

Pietrasanta (LU) 6.07.2022. Great enthusiasm for Academy Motorsport in the lead-up to the third round of the Euronascar season, which will be held at the Piero Taruffi Roman circuit starting on Friday 8 July, a home round that also marks the turning point of the 2022 season. “It is always a deep emotion to race our home track,” says team manager and driver Federico Monti enthusiastically, “and I consider this track one of the most beautiful in the entire circus. The aim is to do our best as always and we hope to obtain important results. The team has really worked hard to get to Vallelunga competitive and prepared for the challenges that will be ahead of us. The drivers are looking forward to demonstrating their potential, and so am I as far as the Club Challenge is concerned, the only thing I hope is that the heat will not be extreme.” Frenchman Patrick Lemarié at the wheel of the No. 5 in EnPro is ready for a personal revenge after a mixed start to the season and says: “I am more than ready for Vallelunga I like the track and it is even more important because it is the team’s home race, so I am very motivated to get a great result.” In the En2 category Vladimiros Tziortzis wants to dominate the race at Vallelunga after the podiums he achieved in England: “I am ready for this event at a circuit I like a lot, I have prepared myself well and as I did in Valencia I want to get on the top step of the podium. “Also for the young Greek Thomas Krasonis, who is competing in the EnPro category at the wheel of the brand new Ford Mustang no. 1 there is great enthusiasm to tackle the Italian round: “It’s always great to race here in Italy because it’s an interesting circuit and I have good memories here, I think to be more competitive in EnPro I have to push harder and get faster a decisive factor at a track like this one. Kasparas Vingilis the very young Lithuanian driver who made his debut at Valencia continues his amazing growth in European Nascar at the wheel of the No. 1 in En2, approaching Valelunga with great determination:” Last year I had a spot race so I will adapt more quickly to the track, racing in Italy is always a great emotion. Of course it has been an incredible start to the season, with getting to know the new team, learning new tracks and becoming more familiar with the new car, but I am firmly convinced that we will finish this season in the best possible way.”

The weekend’s schedule starts on Friday 8 with the Club Challenge starting at 9:00 am followed by practice sessions for EnPro and EN2. Saturday at 14:00 the first race in ENPro and at 17:00 race in En2. Sunday start at 10:30 with En2 race and at 14:00 EnPro race.
