With new GT3 programmes also in the pipeline, from April 10-12 the Italian team opens its European one-make campaign at Le Castellet, where it will field four Huracán ST Evo2s in the opening round, with a fifth entry joining from May in Imola. A mix of new confirmed drivers headlines the line-up

Treviso (Italy), April 8, 2026. Scuderia Villorba Corse is set to launch its 2026 season, which will be split between new GT3 programmes as a “supported by Lamborghini” team and its ongoing commitment to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe. The one-make series gets underway over the weekend of 12 April in Le Castellet, in southern France. At Circuit Paul Ricard, the team led by Raimondo Amadio – competing under the name Rexal Villorba Corse in the series – will field four Lamborghini Huracán ST Evo2s. A fifth entry will join from the second round in Imola for Karim Ojeeh, the reigning LC class champion, who, with Raimondo Amadio’s squad, also secured the World Finals title last November at Misano..

A total of five cars will therefore be entered across the season, marking the team’s fourth year in the Super Trofeo. At Le Castellet, a four-car line-up will open proceedings. In the Pro class, Rexal Villorba Corse introduces several promising young drivers making their debut in the series, alongside the confirmation of Benedetto Strignano. The Apulian driver, already a podium finisher, will share the #15 Huracán ST Evo2 for the first time with newcomer Nicholas Pujatti. The 18-year-old from Pordenone previously raced with the team in 2024 and now makes his debut in the Lamborghini one-make series.

Also debuting is a brand-new and highly international young pairing on the #22 car, featuring Nathanaël Berreby – the Swiss driver with dual Panamanian nationality, born in 2007 and coming from single-seater racing – alongside Frenchman Hugo Giraud (born in 2004), who already boasts experience in GT competition.

In the LC class, two further line-ups will begin their new season at Paul Ricard, both well-established within the Super Trofeo paddock. Car #4 will be driven by Frenchman Claude-Yves Gosselin, while car #8 sees the return of former champions Luciano and Donovan Privitelio. The father-and-son duo, racing under a San Marino licence, remain a key reference within the team.

Villorba Corse Team Principal Raimondo Amadio: “We are very pleased to begin our fourth consecutive season in the Super Trofeo Europe. It has been a positive journey, during which we have grown in a structured and convincing way, becoming one of the benchmark teams in the championship. Our presence within the Super Trofeo platform will continue to expand, further strengthening our relationship with Lamborghini Squadra Corse and our status as a ‘supported by Lamborghini’ team. In 2026 we will also bid farewell to the Huracán cycle, which is set to make way for the new and impressive Temerario. It will be highly motivating to work hard and aim to leave our mark in its final season. We have a strong line-up across all classes, and it will be the team’s task to provide the drivers with the best possible conditions to perform at their highest level”.

The opening race weekend at Le Castellet begins with two 60-minute free practice sessions on Friday 10 April (10:10h and 16:10h). Qualifying takes place on Saturday from 09:00h, followed by Race 1 at 14:45h. Race 2 is scheduled for Sunday at 12:30. Live streaming will be available on the official Lamborghini Squadra Corse YouTube channel and several nationale TV channel across the world.
