1AIM Villorba Corse set for Barcelona 4 Hours after testing

Barcelona (Spain), April 14, 2021. The 2021 season of 1AIM Villorba Corse kicks off from the Montmelò circuit. The new project involving the team led by Raimondo Amadio is ready for the first round of the European Le Mans Series, the 4 Hours of Barcelona, which will take place on the Catalan circuit on April 16-18. The Italian team will line up the LMP3 Ligier JS P320 powered by Nissan with Italian drivers Alessandro Bressan and Damiano Fioravanti and their Greek teammate Andreas Laskaratos.

1AIM Villorba Corse has already been in Barcelona for a few days now, as, preparing for the championship, last Monday and Tuesday they took part in the official test of the series. Last time Villorba Corse competed in an ELMS event was in July 2019, in Spain again, where for the first time the team unveiled the “ACE 1 livery”, finishing in the points. In 2019-20 the team participated in the entire Asian Le Mans Series taking a victory at the 4 Hours of Buriram (Thailand). The “1 AIM project” is now continuing that endurance racing program.

With an outstanding entrylist of 42 cars, action will start on Friday with the first free practice session, followed on Saturday morning by the second one. Qualifying will be held at 13:40hrs (CET).
