ACE1 Villorba Corse ready for the Australian 4 Hours

Second round of the Asian Le Mans Series on the weekend of January 12 for the Venetian team that, on the 7.77 Km of The Bend Motorsport Park, keeps on developing  the ambitious project with Bressan, the driver from Treviso, Lancieri, from Imola, and the arrival of  Fumanelli, the driver from Monza behind the wheel of the Ligier-Nissan LMP3. The race will be broadcasted live on www.asianlemansseries.com on Sunday.

Treviso (Italy), January 8th 2020. Second appointment with the Asian Le Mans Series for the ACE1 Villorba Corse team on the weekend of January 12 in Australia at the 4 Hours of the Bend. For the italian team, led by Raimondo Amadio, it will mark the debut on the 7,77 Km of ‘The Bend Motorsport Park’ in the south of the land of kangaroos, where the ambitious and exciting project continues in the Asian series of endurance races promoted by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), the structure that created the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans. Alessandro Bressan from Treviso, Gabriele Lancieri from Imola and the new entry David Fumanelli from Monza, will be the three italian drivers who will take turns at the wheel of the Ligier-Nissan LMP3, the prototype with which the team and the crew convinced in China at the opening race in Shanghai last November 24th. For the entire series, this is the debut on the Tailem Bend circuit, the town located 100 km south of Adelaide.

An intense program for the ‘4 Hours of the Bend’ which starts on Friday 10 January with 120 minutes of free practice from 16:10 to 17:40; on Saturday 11 another free practice session from 9:30 to 11. Only 15 minutes of qualifying sessions for the crews and for the LMP3 from 14 to 14:15, always on Saturday. The race will start on Sunday 12 January at 1pm (3:30 am in Italy). As usual, the television coverage is very accurate, with live streaming of practice sessions and races from 13:15 to 15 on Saturday and from 12:30 to 17:30 on Sunday on http://www.asianlemansseries.com/live/ . Many important Australian and Asian TVs, specified on the organizer’s website, will follow the Australian appointment of the Asian Le Mans Series. The Australian time zone is 9 hours and 30 minutes ahead of Italy’s.

The team principal Amadio comments: “After the demanding and convincing debut in Shanghai, we arrive in Australia undoubtedly motivated and increasingly aware of the necessary commitment in order to learn quickly in this exciting championship. Bressan and Lancieri immediately showed a good sense of teamwork that will be enriched by the determination of another young man like Fumanelli, who has clearly been in the spotlight on various occasions. A crew that certainly wants to grow together with the team, all in an important and stimulating learning stage. For this reason, we all want to capitalize on this 4 Hours on a long, spectacular and selective track “.
