Treviso (Italy), May 17, 2018. After their 2018 debut at Most, Scuderia Villorba Corse gets back on track at the Red Bull Ring for the second round of the 2018 GT4 Central European Cup. In Austria the team led by Raimondo Amadio will line up two Maserati GranTurismo MC’s, one confirmed in the AM-Cup and the other competing for the first time in the season in the Pro-AM Cup. The first is for Giuseppe Fascicolo and Romy Dall’Antonia, Italian crew capable to clinch a podium after race 2 at Most (reaching second place in the standings). Polish drivers Piotr Chodzen and his son Antoni Chodzen, on the contrary, will make their season debut looking to improve their performances after two very positive seasons with the team. After Friday’s free practice, two qualifying sessions will be held on Saturday at 8:45hs, while race 1 will start at 13:00hs. Same time for Sunday’s race 2. Both races will be broadcast live on official site .
Team Principal Amadio says: “In the Czech Republic we saw a lot of positive things but also some mistakes not to be made again in the second round. At the Red Bull Ring we must avoid any kind of mistake and score as many points as possible. From now on we are going to line up a second car for Antoni e Piotr Chodzen: it is a pleasure to be able to compete with a second Maserati in the championship and to try to score valuable points for the team”.
